This Mid-Century era French Sunburst mirror is made of metal with an old painted finish in gilt and white. It would make a great statement above a fireplace, sofa, console table, tub or bed. The mirror is not marked or signed.

CONDITION: Good vintage condition. The mirror is heavy. There is a metal bracket on the back for hanging and a wire that was added to the bracket to hang the mirror. I am assuming this made it easier to hang given that the metal rays curve out from the mirror and the tips sit flush with the wall. You will want to tighten the wire loop prior to hanging on your wall if you choose to keep it. The finish is a combination of original gilt paint underneath a layer of old white paint and someone at some point has applied more gilt to the top of the old white paint. See photos. The mirror is in good vintage condition with age appropriate wear.
