Tohono O'odham (Papago) Basket with Horses

$0.00

This gorgeous, Native American basket has been attributed to the Tohono O'odham/Papago Tribe of the Southwestern United States and Mexico.  It was originally made for storage, is tightly woven and features figures of horses in the design.  There is one figure on the top row which appears to have two heads and one that just depicts the back of the horse.  Made of coiled grasses and banana yucca root, this basket is a collector's piece and truly a work of art!
