CONDITION NOTES

UPHOLSTERY: Professionally reupholstered in natural linen (new old stock) that is free of rips/tears/stains. There are some minor flaws to the hand-painted tortoise finish (see second-to-last photo for example). As the piece has been hand painted, I would not recommend for use in high traffic areas. The wooden frame is of good weight and was painted in a faux tortoise shell paint finish that is not original to the piece. There was an old repair to the back right leg (you can see this in the last photo). The leg is stable but shows on the inside of the back leg. I am happy to provide more photos or answer any questions you may have.
