This Chinoiserie style stool was inspired by designs popular in England during the 1840s, comes in the original black lacquered finish with gold accents and features an upholstered seat on faux bamboo legs and stretchers with turned bells.  It is marked with the Baker Furniture Company, McMillen Collection metal tag on the bottom.  This collection debuted for Baker in the late '80s.

CONDITION:  Excellent Vintage Condition with some wear near bottom of feet from age and use.  Fabric is light pink in color and is free of stains or tears.
