Set of 4 Thonet bentwood armchairs newly upholstered in blue and white stripe performance indoor/outdoor fabric with contrasting white piping.

MAKER'S MARK: Thonet stamped on the bottom of each seat.

CIRCA: Early 1980s

CONDITION NOTES

The chairs are sturdy and nothing is loose or broken. The wood shows some wear to be expected from age and use. There is one chair that has a few gouges along the top inside that most likely happened during reupholstery at some point (this is the 3rd upholstery job that I am aware of). See last photo for detail. There is some old glue residue on one of the seatbacks (see second-to-last photo) but again the chair is sturdy and not loose. The chairs have always been upholstered on both the seat bottoms and seat backs. New foam was added to both the seat back and seat bottom.
